The DPA 6060-OC-U-B10 d:secret Core 6060 Omni Subminiature Microphone is a powerhouse in a tiny package. Measuring just 3 mm (0.12 in), it delivers the same audio quality as our larger, award-winning DPA microphones. Despite its small size, it offers exceptional clarity, consistency, and durability. By shrinking the CORE by DPA technology, we've ensured you don't have to sacrifice sound for aesthetics. Technical specs include an omnidirectional pattern, pressure operation principle, pre-polarized condenser cartridge, 20 Hz - 20 kHz frequency range, and more. It has a nominal sensitivity of 20 mV/Pa, a typical A-weighted equivalent noise level of 24 dB(A), and a dynamic range of about 102 dB. It can handle a max SPL peak of 134 dB before clipping. With a weight of 8 g (0.29 oz) including cable and MicroDot connector, it's lightweight and easy to use.

Using this DPA 6060 subminiature microphone is a breeze. First, make sure to connect it properly using the TA4F Mini - XLR connector. You can use it with a DPA adapter for wireless systems or with the DAD6001 - BC for 48V phantom power. For full performance, ensure the power supply is within the recommended range: a minimum of 5V to a maximum of 10V through the DPA adapter for wireless systems, or 48V phantom power - 4V with the DAD6001 - BC. It can work from 12V as well. When using it, be aware of the temperature and humidity limits. The microphone can operate in temperatures from - 40 deg C to 45 deg C (- 40 deg F to 113 deg F) and relative humidity up to 90%. Avoid exposing it to extreme conditions outside this range. For maintenance, keep it clean. You can gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. If you need to use a cable, it has a great cable drive capability of up to 300 m (984 ft) with the DAD6001 - BC XLR adapter. Just make sure the cable is in good condition. Also, when not in use, store it in a safe place to prevent any physical damage.
