Product Detail

The DPA 4166-OC-F-F00-LH 4166 CORE Slim Omni Flex Headset Microphone in beige color comes with a 110 mm boom and MicroDot. This omnidirectional headset mic combines the amazing sound of the 4066 Omnidirectional Capsule with a lightweight and flexible headset system. It's a condenser mic that's super easy and quick to adjust, offering clean, transparent sound with plenty of headroom. The capsule, similar to the 4066, is attached to an interchangeable boom arm. Like other mics in the range, it provides accurate, natural voice clarity and can handle very high sound pressure levels. You can speak or sing into it without any distortion. It's available as an earset or headset. Earset types are fast to put on, great for conferences. Headset types fit securely around the head, perfect for active performances. Both are ergonomically designed for a comfortable fit, adjustable to any ear size and head shape, and hardly visible. You can rotate the boom and earhook to use it on either ear. The connector allows for quick cable and wireless connector swapping. All CORE by DPA technology mics are IP58 certified. This durability is achieved through water - repellant nano - coating, hermetic sealing of the amplifier, and dual gold plating of the diaphragm. You can choose between the legacy and CORE by DPA versions. The legacy 4166 is clear, consistent, and robust, working across a wide dynamic range with low distortion. The CORE version offers a 14 dB increase in dynamic range and an even clearer, more open sound. Technical specs include an omnidirectional pattern, pressure operation principle, pre - polarized condenser cartridge, 20 Hz - 20 kHz frequency response, and more.

Using this DPA 4166 CORE headset microphone is a breeze. First, decide if you want to use it as an earset or a headset. If you're in a hurry, like for a conference, the earset is the way to go. Just put it on your ear. For active performances, choose the headset as it fits more securely around your head. Adjust the boom and earhook to fit your ear size and head shape, and you can use it on either the left or right ear. When connecting, the split connector makes it easy to swap broken cables or wireless connectors. As for power, if you're using a wireless system, make sure the voltage is between 5V and 10V through the DPA adapter. With the DAD6001 - BC, you can use P48 Phantom Power starting from 12V. Keep in mind that this mic is IP58 certified, but still try to avoid exposing it to excessive water. Store it in a dry place within the temperature range of - 40C to 45C and relative humidity up to 90%. If you notice any issues, check the cable connections first. And that's all you need to know to get the most out of your DPA 4166 CORE microphone.
