Product Detail

The Cocoa Countryman H6DW5CSO Directional H6 Headset Microphone features a Sony Hirose 4-Pin Twist-Lock Connector. It's compatible with Sony WRT-28, WRT-820A, and WRT-860A models. This headset is the world's lowest-profile microphone. It combines the E6 Earset's clear sound and water-resistant capsule design with a comfortable, lightweight, and adjustable headframe. Ideal for houses of worship, theaters, broadcasters, and presenters. Technical specs: Frequency response - Omnidirectional: 20 Hz to 20 kHz, Directional: 30 Hz to 15 kHz. Operating current is 500 uA, and operating voltage ranges from 1 to 2 Volts. Power supply voltage options are +3V with 2.7 kOhm load, +5V with 6.8 kOhm load, and +9V with 15 kOhm load. It weighs just 0.07 oz (2 g). Sensitivity varies by type and band. Equivalent acoustic noise and overload sound levels also differ. Cable length is 5 feet. Included items are the H6 Headset Microphone, optional H6 Headset Cable, black and white single tie cable clips, omnidirectional and directional protective caps, windscreen, and carrying case.

Using this headset microphone is easy. First, connect it to your compatible Sony device using the 4-Pin Twist-Lock Connector. Adjust the headframe to fit your head comfortably. You can choose between omnidirectional and directional modes depending on your needs. For general speaking, the standard gain W5 setting is a good choice. When not in use, store it in the carrying case to protect it. Keep the microphone away from water as much as possible, although it has a water-resistant capsule design. Clean the microphone gently with a soft cloth. Check the cable regularly for any signs of damage. If you need to change the protective caps, do it carefully to avoid damaging the microphone.
