Using the Lectrosonics WM Digital Hybrid Wireless Beltpack Transmitter is a breeze. First, insert two 1.5 - volt AA lithium batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure to follow the correct polarity indicated inside the compartment. Then, connect your microphone or other audio source to the 2.5 mm locking micro audio input jack.
Before turning it on, you can set the output power, frequency, and other parameters using the control panel with its four membrane switches and the LCD. You can select the output power (50, 100, or 250 mW) according to whether you want to save battery or need a longer operating range.
When you're ready, turn on the transmitter. The dual bicolor LEDs will show the modulation level. You can adjust the gain using the gain control range on the panel.
Some important notes: Keep the transmitter away from extreme heat and cold. If it gets wet, dry it thoroughly before using it again. Since it's designed for wet or dusty environments, you can use it in such conditions, but avoid submerging it in water.
For maintenance, regularly check the O - rings in the battery compartments and input jack. Replace them if they show signs of wear. Clean the control panel and antenna with a soft, dry cloth. If you're not using the transmitter for a long time, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
