Using the Sennheiser EK 100 G4 is a breeze. First, insert the 2 AA batteries or connect the BA 2015 accupack as the power source. Then, mount the receiver on your camera using the CA 2 camera adapter. It can be easily attached to any type of camera. Next, connect your audio device to the 3.5 mm jack socket. You can use the CL 1 3.5 mm jack cable or the CL 100 XLR to 3.5 mm jack adapter cable depending on your needs.
When setting up the frequency, you have a wide range of options. There are 20 frequency banks with factory - preset channels and 1 bank with programmable channels. Adjust the frequency in 25 kHz steps to get the best signal.
As for the squelch, you can choose between low, middle, and high settings according to the environment. In a quiet place, a low setting might work well, while in a noisy area, a high setting can help reduce interference.
**Note**: Make sure the receiver is within the 100 - meter range of the transmitter for reliable wireless transmission. Don't expose the receiver to extreme temperatures outside the - 10 °C to +55 °C range, as it can affect its performance.
**Maintenance**: Keep the receiver clean by using a soft, dry cloth. If the battery compartment gets dirty, clean it gently. When not in use for a long time, remove the batteries to prevent corrosion. Also, store the receiver in a dry and safe place.
