Using your Point Source Audio CO-3-KIT condenser earset microphone is a breeze. First, decide if you want to use the single or dual over-ear style. You can easily switch between them with the removable and reversible dual ear clip. Just clip it onto your left ear and position the microphone close to your mouth for the best sound. The stationary left-ear boom doesn't need any adjustments, so you're good to go. Connect the 4-pin mini Telex connector to your device, and make sure the operating voltage is between 1.5V - 10VDC. When using it, be aware that it can handle up to 116 dB SPL, but try to avoid extremely loud sounds to prevent distortion. Keep it away from strong wind and make sure your clothing doesn't rub against the microphone to reduce noise. For maintenance, gently clean the microphone and the earhooks with a soft, dry cloth. The windscreens can be replaced every few uses or when they get dirty. Store the microphone in the included storage box when not in use to protect it from damage.
