Using the Samson AWXm Micro UHF Wind Instrument System is easy. First, clip the ATX transmitter directly onto the bell of your wind instrument. There's no need for a belt - pack or cable. Make sure the battery is charged; it can last up to eight hours with the built - in rechargeable lithium - ion battery. You can use the variable gain control and one - touch mute as needed.
Next, connect the HM60 condenser microphone to the ATX transmitter using the Mini - XLR (P3) connector. Adjust the 8.5' gooseneck to get the best mic placement for your instrument.
Turn on the AR99m micro receiver. Press the set button to scan and select the optimal operating channel. You can use the IR sync to wirelessly match the transmitter to the receiver frequency. The receiver has three output connections (1/4', 1/8' and XLR), so choose the one that suits your setup. You can also use the rotary volume knob to adjust the sound level.
