Product Detail

The Point Source Audio CR-8D-XAK-BR SERIES8 Brown Cardioid Headset Microphone is a great choice. It's a dual-ear headset with an under-ear mic placement. The ear loops can be reversed for left or right wearing and collapsed for easy storage and travel. It has excellent feedback rejection. Comes with a pre-mounted microphone, cable clip, and standard and large size windscreens. Key features include reversible and collapsible earhooks, left or right wear options, an unbreakable boom that bends 360 degrees, up to 135 dB max SPL, available in beige, brown or black, a 1 - meter cable length, and interchangeable X - Connectors compatible with popular wireless systems like Shure, Sennheiser and Audio - Technica. Technical specs: Back Electret Condenser element, Cardioid pattern, 160Hz - 14kHz frequency, - 50dB 1V/Pa (+/- 3dB at 1kHz) sensitivity, 135dB SPL maximum SPL, 5000 Ohm output impedance (at 1kHz), 1 - 10 V operating voltage, 4 ft. 077 in + connector cable length, and 0.6 oz net weight.

Using this headset microphone is easy. First, adjust the ear loops to fit your ear. You can wear it on either the left or right side as you like. Bend the boom to the position where the microphone is close to your mouth. Connect the cable to your wireless system using the interchangeable X - Connectors. When not in use, collapse the ear loops to save space. Keep it in a dry place to avoid damage. If the windscreens get dirty, you can replace them. Don't expose it to extreme temperatures or moisture. Check the cable regularly for any signs of wear and tear. When handling, be gentle with the boom as it's bendable but still needs care.
