Product Detail
The Point Source Audio CO-3-MP-BL Condenser Earworn Microphone in black comes with a 4-pin mini MIPRO connector. It's an entry-level earworn mic ideal for church liturgy, lectures, and other hands-free vocal applications. With an omnidirectional polar pattern, it captures 360-degree sound, blending voice and ambience naturally. The design reduces popping sounds and voice overloads in close mic use, and its mouth-near placement cuts wind and clothing noise. It offers clear close-talk operation and high gain before feedback, perfect for high speech intelligibility needs. It's a single over-ear model for basic speech, including a mic and body clip. Key features: wears left only, handles up to 116 dB SPL, ultra-low profile, affordable, increased gain before feedback, and a stationary left-ear boom. Technical specs: black color, 4-pin mini MiPro connector, back electret condenser element, omnidirectional pattern, 50 Hz - 16kHz frequency, -44 dB sensitivity, 116dB max SPL, 1,500 ohm output impedance, 1.5V - 10VDC operating voltage, 3 ft 11 in + connector cable length, .28 oz net weight, fixed boom, left-ear placement, and includes a storage box.
Using this earworn microphone is easy. First, put it on your left ear as it's designed to be worn on the left only. The stationary left-ear boom doesn't need any adjustments. Clip the body clip to your clothing to keep the cable in place. For power, make sure the operating voltage is between 1.5V - 10VDC. When using it, speak clearly into the microphone, and enjoy the natural sound capture. As for maintenance, keep it clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it. Store it in the included storage box when not in use. Be careful not to expose it to extreme temperatures or moisture. And if you're in a very loud environment, remember it can handle up to 116 dB SPL, but try to avoid going over that limit to ensure the best performance.
