Product Detail

The Lectrosonics DCHR is a top - notch digital stereo portable receiver. It's a great fit for film and TV production. You can use it as a wireless stereo audio link from a bag or cart system to cameras with a DCHT or M2T transmitter. Or, it can work as a stand - alone miniature receiver with D Squared series mono transmitters. It offers two channels of mic or line level analog signals or an AES3 digital signal through a locking TA5M connector. With a 4th - generation digital architecture and high - efficiency circuitry, it can run for a long time on just two AA batteries. The DCHR can tune across the UHF TV band from 470 to 614 MHz (470 - 608 MHz for NA Locale) in 100 kHz or 25 kHz steps, giving you over 6000 frequencies. It has AES256 - CTR encryption for content security and four encryption key policies for different applications. You can mount it on a camera with the optional LRSHOE accessory. Key features include wide frequency tuning, compatibility with multiple transmitters, selectable outputs, 256 - bit encryption, a USB port for updates, AA battery power, a solid aluminum housing, optional external power, and fast RF scanning and setup via IR. Technical specs show it has a wide operating temperature range, good frequency response, high dynamic range, and more.

Using the Lectrosonics DCHR is easy. First, insert two AA batteries into the receiver. If you want to power it externally, you can use the LTBATELIM. To connect it to a camera, you can use a DCHT or M2T transmitter for a wireless stereo audio link. Or, if you're using a D Squared series mono transmitter, it can work as a stand - alone receiver. When setting the frequency, you can tune across the UHF TV band from 470 to 614 MHz (470 - 608 MHz for NA Locale) in 100 kHz or 25 kHz steps. You can choose between AES3 or analog mic/line level outputs according to your needs. For security - sensitive applications, turn on the 256 - bit encryption. When it comes to maintenance, keep the receiver in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures. If you need to update the firmware, use the USB port. The battery life is about 8 hours with lithium AA batteries, so have some spares on hand if you're using it for a long time. Also, handle the solid machined aluminum housing with care to avoid dents or scratches.
