Product Detail

The Audio-Technica AT829mW is a high - quality miniature cardioid condenser lavalier microphone. It comes with a 55' (1.4 m) cable that's permanently attached, so you don't have to worry about cable disconnection. Along with the mic, you'll get a clothing clip and a windscreen, which are very useful for on - the - go use. There are different configurations available. The AT829cH has a screw - down 4 - pin connector for Audio - Technica cH - style body - pack wireless transmitters. The AT829cW features a locking 4 - pin connector for Audio - Technica cW - style body - pack wireless transmitters. And the AT829mW, our focus here, has a 3.5 mm connector that works perfectly with the Audio - Technica PRO 88W wireless transmitter. Technically, it has a condenser element with a cardioid polar pattern. It weighs just 2.4 g (0.1 oz), making it extremely lightweight. The mic is 24mm long and 10.5mm in diameter. Accessories include an AT8131 foam windscreen and an AT8434 clothing clip.

Using the Audio - Technica AT829mW lavalier microphone is easy. First, choose the right configuration based on your transmitter. If you have a PRO 88W transmitter, use the AT829mW model with its 3.5 mm connector. Connect the mic to your transmitter securely. Then, use the clothing clip to attach the mic to your clothing. The windscreen can be put on when you're recording outdoors to reduce wind noise. When handling the mic, be gentle as it's lightweight and delicate. Avoid pulling the cable forcefully to prevent damage. After use, store the mic in a dry and clean place. You can clean the foam windscreen regularly with a mild detergent and let it dry completely before using it again. This will keep your microphone in good working condition for a long time.
