Product Detail

The Lectrosonics ISO9VOLTM Isolated Battery Eliminator Kit is a great solution for powering your wireless transmitters. It comes with a battery eliminator and a modified battery door, fitting any Lectrosonics UM type belt - pack transmitter with a hinged battery door. Instead of using traditional 9 - volt batteries, you can use external power sources. It converts 10 to 18 volt DC to a regulated 9 volt DC, offering a stable power supply. The modified battery door gives easy access to the external power connector and is still compatible with dry cell batteries. With a power supply of up to 200 mA, it's suitable for 250 mW transmitters. It also has fuse and reverse polarity protection for safety. A unique feature is its design that isolates the power ground from the audio ground. This helps prevent high - frequency noise and interference in 'bag systems' often used in field production. The battery eliminator has been tested only with specified Lectrosonics transmitters. Using it with other devices will void the warranty and may cause damage. Technical specs include an input range of 10.5 - 18 VDC, a regulated 9 VDC output with a max power of 200 mA, and compact size and light weight.

Using the Lectrosonics ISO9VOLTM Isolated Battery Eliminator is easy. First, make sure your transmitter is a Lectrosonics UM type with a hinged battery door as this kit is designed for these. Connect your external power source to the DC sleeve - type connector on the battery eliminator. The input voltage should be between 10.5 and 18 VDC. Once connected, the battery eliminator will convert the power to a regulated 9 VDC for your transmitter. You can still use regular dry - cell batteries if needed by simply using the modified battery door. Remember, don't use this battery eliminator with any device other than the ones specified by the manufacturer. Doing so will void the warranty and may damage the equipment. As for maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Check the fuse regularly to ensure it's working properly. If you notice any issues like power fluctuations or strange noises, stop using it and contact the manufacturer.
