Using the Comica BoomX-U U1 is a breeze. First, charge the transmitter and receiver using the USB charging cable. The built-in lithium-ion batteries will give you up to 6 hours of operation.
If you're using the built-in microphone on the transmitter, just clip it onto your clothing or hold it in your hand. If you prefer a more discreet setup, plug in the included lavalier microphone. You can easily hide it from the camera's view.
To connect the receiver, you have a few options. You can mount it on your camera using the belt clip, which also serves as a shoe mount adapter. Or, if you're using a smartphone, use the TRRS output cable to plug the receiver into the headphone jack. For professional camcorders, use the XLR output cable.
