Product Detail

The VocoPro IR-9009-2 Infrared Dual Wireless Microphone System stands out by using the latest Infrared (IR) technology instead of VHF or UHF bands. This effectively gets rid of signal interference like never before. With an external sensor included, you can customize the performing area for excellent reception. You can use up to two IR-9009 systems in the same room or multiple rooms without the signal crossover issues that trouble most microphone systems. Each microphone runs on two AA batteries, either alkaline or rechargeable. An optional Rechargeable Kit is available, which comes with a charging dock and four rechargeable AA batteries, so you don't need alkaline batteries. Key features include 2 microphone channels with individual volume controls, utilization of IR technology to eliminate signal interference, two sets of IR frequencies for using up to 4 microphones at once, a large on-board IR sensor for great reception, an additional external IR sensor for larger rooms, the ability to use up to 3 IR sensors simultaneously, individual 1/4” outputs for each microphone signal, and a mixed 1/4” output for combined signals. Technical specifications show that the rear panel has 3 IR sensor inputs, 1/4' CH1 and CH2 mic outs, 1/4' Mixed mic out, and a power in connector.

Using the VocoPro IR-9009-2 is a breeze. First, insert two AA batteries into each microphone. You can choose alkaline or rechargeable ones. If you have the optional Rechargeable Kit, you can charge the batteries easily using the charging dock. When setting up, place the on - board IR sensor in a central location. For larger rooms, attach the external IR sensor to extend the range and improve signal strength. You can even use up to three IR sensors at the same time. Adjust the individual volume controls on each microphone channel to get the right sound level. You can either use the individual 1/4” outputs for each microphone or the mixed 1/4” output for combined signals. When it comes to maintenance, keep the batteries fresh. If you're using rechargeable batteries, make sure to charge them regularly. Clean the microphones and sensors gently with a soft, dry cloth to avoid damage. Also, be careful not to expose the system to extreme temperatures or moisture, as this can affect its performance.
