Product Detail

The Sony DWR-R02DN is a top-notch two-channel 19” rack-mountable (1U-size) receiver. It's part of the DWX series digital wireless microphone system, which offers high-quality full-digital operation with shorter audio latency and a more reliable RF transmission mode. This makes it ideal for various high-quality applications such as broadcast studios, theatres, and live sound events. The DWX series, including the DWT-B01N body-pack transmitter, DWM-02N microphone, and DWR-R02DN receiver, provides superb-quality wireless transmission of 24-bit digital audio. Thanks to its improved codec and new hardware, it delivers higher sound quality with lower audio latency. The system works with Sony's control software, Wireless Studio 4.2 or later for PC and Wireless Studio Mobile for smartphones*, allowing users to control the system flexibly. With the Cross Remote function combined with the RMU-01 remote control unit, you can remotely control up to 82 transmitters. Key features include three codec modes for more reliable RF transmissions and better sound quality, excellent wireless transmission and reception, stable and secure operation, simultaneous multi-channel functionality, remote control of transmitter functions from the receiver, and smartphone control using Wireless Studio Mobile software. Technical specifications cover a wide range of details, from wireless interface and oscillator type to frequency response and power requirements.

Using the Sony DWR-R02DN is easy. First, make sure to connect the detachable antennas to the BNC-R connectors. Then, power on the receiver using either AC (100 - 240 V, 0.4 A or less) or DC (12 V, 1.6 A or less). You can use the Wireless Studio 4.2 or later software on your PC or the Wireless Studio Mobile app on your smartphone to set up and control the system. When using it, keep the operating temperature between 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F). For storage or transport, the temperature should be between -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F). To maintain the product, keep it clean and free from dust. Avoid exposing it to moisture or extreme temperatures. If you need to control transmitters, use the Cross Remote function with the RMU-01 remote control unit. And always refer to the technical specifications for frequency settings and other details.
