Product Detail

The DPA 4288-DC-F-F10-ME 4288 CORE Directional Flex Single Ear Earset microphone combines the legendary sound of the 4088 Directional Capsule with a lightweight and flexible headset system. It's perfect for both spoken word and vocal performances, offering accurate and natural voice clarity and high-SPL capabilities. You can speak or sing into it without any distortion. This mic excels in high-SPL situations with excellent off-axis rejection. It suppresses distant sounds, making it ideal for live performances where background noise and feedback are issues. The 4088 Directional Capsule easily handles high-SPL events and feedback concerns. The bass response is optimized for linearity at 2 - 3 cm from the sound source, helping to reject background noise and avoid feedback. The microphone capsule also has low distortion and humidity resistance. Available as an earset or headset, the earset is quick to put on, great for conferences. The headset fits securely around the head, perfect for active performances. Both are ergonomically designed for comfort and easy adjustment to any ear size and head shape. They're also hardly visible. You can use the mic on either ear by rotating the boom and earhook. The connector allows you to quickly swap broken cables or wireless connectors. Using the DPA 4288 microphone is a breeze. First, choose whether you want to use the earset or headset. If you're in a hurry, like for a conference, the earset is your best bet as it's quick to put on. For active performances, go for the headset which fits more securely around your head. Adjust the boom and earhook so the mic is at a comfortable position near your mouth, and you can use it on either the left or right ear. When it comes to power, if you're using a wireless system, make sure the voltage is between 5V and 10V through the DPA adapter. With the DAD6001 - BC XLR Adapter, you can use P48 Phantom Power, and it'll work from 12V. Here are some things to keep in mind. Avoid exposing the microphone to extreme temperatures outside the -40°C to 45°C range or high humidity above 90%. Also, be careful not to subject it to very high sound pressure for extended periods. If you notice any cable issues, you can easily swap the broken cable or wireless connector using the connector on the microphone boom. For maintenance, keep the microphone clean. You can gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Store it in a dry place when not in use to prevent any damage. With proper use and care, your DPA 4288 microphone will serve you well for a long time.
