Product Detail

The DPA 4288-DC-F-C00-ME 4288 CORE Directional Flex Single Ear Earset Microphone combines the legendary sound of the 4088 Directional Capsule with a lightweight and flexible headset system. It's perfect for both spoken word and vocal performances, offering accurate and natural voice clarity and high-SPL capabilities. You can speak or sing into it without any distortion. This microphone provides excellent off-axis rejection in high-SPL situations. It effectively suppresses distant sound sources, making it ideal for demanding live performance environments where background noise and feedback are issues. The 4088 Directional Capsule easily handles challenges in high-SPL events or when feedback is a concern. The bass response is optimized for linearity at 2 - 3 cm from the sound source, helping to reject background noise and avoid feedback. The microphone capsule is also optimized for low distortion and humidity resistance. The 4288 comes as an earset or headset. Earset variants are quick to put on, great for fast and easy miking like in conferences. Headset variants fit more securely around the head, suitable for active performances. Both are ergonomically designed for a comfortable fit, adjusting to any ear size and head shape, and are hardly visible. You can use it on either the left or right ear by rotating the boom and earhook. The connector allows you to quickly swap broken cables or wireless connectors. Using the DPA 4288 microphone is easy. First, decide if you want to use the earset or headset version. The earset is quick to put on, just place it on your ear. The headset fits around your head for a more secure hold. Adjust the boom and earhook so the microphone is at the right position near your mouth, and you can use it on either the left or right ear. When it comes to power, if you're using a wireless system, make sure the voltage is between 5V and 10V through the DPA adapter. With the DAD6001 - BC, you can use P48 Phantom Power, and it will work from 12V. Some things to keep in mind. Don't expose the microphone to extreme temperatures outside the -40°C to 45°C range or high humidity above 90%. When there's a lot of background noise or potential for feedback, this microphone's features will help reduce those issues, but try to keep it at the recommended 2 - 3 cm from your mouth for the best sound. For maintenance, if the cable gets broken, you can easily swap it using the connector. Keep the microphone clean by gently wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Store it in a safe place when not in use to avoid damage.
