Product Detail

The DPA 4288-DC-F-F00-ME 4288 CORE Directional Flex Single Ear Earset in beige combines the outstanding sound of the 4088 Directional Capsule with a lightweight and flexible headset system. It's great for both spoken word and vocal performances, offering clear and natural voice quality and high SPL capabilities without distortion. This microphone excels in high-SPL situations with excellent off-axis rejection, suppressing distant sounds, making it ideal for live performances where background noise and feedback are issues. The 4088 Directional Capsule easily handles high-SPL events and feedback concerns. The bass response is optimized for linearity at 2 - 3 cm from the sound source, helping to reject background noise. The capsule is also low-distortion and humidity-resistant. The 4288 comes as an earset or headset. Earsets are quick to put on, perfect for conferences. Headsets fit securely, great for active performances. Both are ergonomically designed to fit comfortably and adjust to any ear size and head shape. You can use the mic on either ear by rotating the boom and earhook. The connector allows for quick cable and wireless connector swaps. Technical specs: Cardioid directional pattern, pressure gradient operation, pre-polarized condenser cartridge, 20 Hz - 20 kHz frequency response, and more.

Using the DPA 4288 is a breeze. First, choose between the earset and headset based on your needs. If you're in a hurry, like for a conference, go for the earset as it's quick to put on. For active performances, the headset is a better choice as it fits more securely. Adjust the boom and earhook to fit your ear size and head shape, and you can use it on either the left or right ear. When using it, keep the microphone about 2 - 3 cm from your mouth for the best sound quality. This will help reduce background noise and feedback. In high-SPL situations, the mic will handle it well, but try to minimize other sources of noise around you. For maintenance, keep the mic in a dry place as it's humidity-resistant but still not immune to long - term moisture exposure. If the cable gets damaged, you can easily swap it using the connector. Also, make sure to use the appropriate power supply as specified in the technical details. When not in use, store it in a safe place to avoid any physical damage.
